A Fleeting Confession Released!

Hello!

Behold! My submission to O2A2 Jam 2023 ~ Queer Edition ~!  I really wanted to participate in the jam, but I didn't know what story to tell. And then this idea hit me and I just ran with it.

It's a solemn and short read. I myself don't even really know how to feel after writing it. It doesn't leave me feeling too hopeful or satisfied, and it's pretty dark. It became a sort of character study. 

It was a nice challenge trying to keep within the word count. I had to cut out a lot of dialogue or simplify sentences. I hope I didn't cut out too much and that I left enough for readers to get a gist of what's going on. It was fun working with other restrictions too! At first, I didn't know how to go about telling a story with one sprite and one background. When this idea popped into my head though, I knew immediately how it should look and feel. I'm happy with how this turned out.

On another note, I don't expect anyone to connect dots, but props to you if you can recognize the confessor from one of my other projects!

It feels strange to ask you to enjoy this visual novel because it feels so sad and the subject matter is serious, but I thank you for reading it!
