Hello!

So I accidentally deleted the scripting I had been working on since I released the demo... It included the next five to seven days after what appeared in the demo and... I died inside. And it wasn't like a just threw it in the recycling bin and was able to fish in there and retrieve it. It was more like I threw it in the recycling bin, emptied the recycling bin, and lost it forever. AAHHHHH!? Right?! 

Well, yeah, I was distraught for a few hours, but then I decided, "Hey! This is great! I can write a better script and clean up the code!" So that's what I'll be doing: re-writing a better script-- since I felt earlier that the script I had planned was utter BS-- and making the code simpler and more easy to follow. 

The good thing is the entire skeleton of the game was laid out in the old script from the demo, so I don't have to completely start from scratch. YAY! I've also learned to not be lazy and BACK. UP. MY. FILES. BACK UP YOUR FILES, FRIENDS!

I hadn't set a hard release date, but I'm thinking I've only been set back a few days from the date I was planning on updating with a more complete demo.. BUT I'm sure I'll get something great out to you by the end of summer. 

I'll also take this time to mention that I'll be interning for the next 2 weeks, so I won't be able to work on the game much... 

In lighter news: I finished a side character sprite. YAY! She's a secret for now so I can't show you.. Sorry!

TL;DR   Accidentally deleting all my files (except for the image assets and the sound/music, THANK GOD THOSE ARE STILL INTACT) was a good thing so I can focus on writing a better script. I'll be interning for 2 weeks, so I can't work on the game then. I finished 1 character sprite. WOOHOO!
