Happy One Year Anniversary to Froot Basket Valentine~!

I released this visual novel/otome game on April 20, 2019 on my last day of clinical rotations, so this was my first completed project after years of schooling! I was so ecstatic and proud despite me slapping the story together kind of haphazardly. But FBV contains a lot of things I love such as tender moments and supernatural mystery (and puns). 

The first character I wrote and created for the game was Sutoro! I love strawberries! I thought it'd be fun to write an overly dramatic, lovey-dovey romance scene/confession for him, but I scrapped that idea because I ultimately thought that would be kind of boring. Thus, Momo was born (but he was born purely because I wanted to have a character with pink hair). I had no idea what I wanted for him and his route, until I thought of adding some supernatural twist. Eventually, the supernatural part became the biggest thing in the story, and thus, Momo became the poster boy. He's sort of supposed to be a counterpart to Sutoro? Or at least, a significant rival to Sutoro... 

Anyway, I'm so happy and grateful to all of you for loving this game and playing through it! Thank you so much for all the Let's Plays, the comments, the reviews and ratings, the memes, the fanart, and so much more! I'd like to celebrate the anniversary by announcing...

I have big plans for this series and I'd like to make a trilogy with FBV as the first entry. I'd like to give you and the Furuta Basketball Club a satisfying conclusion, and I'd like you to have an *actual* interaction with Momo other than what was presented of him in FBV.

On that note, our peachy lover boy has grown up a bit and will be a love interest in the BL game Kalie and I are collaborating on... If you're interested to see what he's like in a corporate setting, please follow that project as well!
